CrossFit Level 1 Trainer

Ken has served in the Royal Australian Navy as an Amourer on Skyhawks in the fleet air arm and later as an engineering sailor on submarines. This is where Ken started to appreciate the benefits of intense, functional fitness, representing the Navy in both rugby and marathon kayaking.

More recently Ken participated in Nordic walking, and has been involved in mountain running, having regularly competed in the Keppler challenge.

Kens goal as a fitness coach is to inspire individuals to set high goals and achieve them.

Kens major passion is rugby, he enjoys training and guiding young rugby players, to help them achieve their sporting goals and show/teach them the dedication required in order to become a professional sports person. He also believes strongly in assisting professionals get an edge over their competition. Another passion of Kens is working with the more mature client to help them get back into fitness.

How were you introduced to CrossFit?
I was introduced to CrossFit 4 years ago, while incorporating it into my boys rugby training program

What do you like most about being a trainer?
Teaching people about this great program, which helps all fitness levels to achieve their fitness goals

What is your tip for a person getting started in CrossFit?
Don't think you have to be fit before doing CrossFit... come on in and get started, we are here to guide you!
