Nira is a qualified Personal Trainer and a Team Training Instructor with several years experience in some of New Zealand's most well known training

Niras focus has always been to ensure a challenging, interesting and fun regime for clients while meeting their needs and keeping them motivated. This is what drew him to CrossFit initially and eventually to pursue a career as a CrossFit coach. He believes that training the CrossFit way draws out confidence, motivation and results in anyone, whatever their level or capabilities.
How were you introduced to CrossFit? I got introduced to CrossFit initially through a friend who had been involved with it for a few weeks. It was basically "go check it out", I did and the rest is history!
With CrossFit it's never just routine exercise. Going in everyday you can be sure to expect the unexpected with each work out of the day (W.O.D). I love the
intensity and the surge of adrenaline that comes with completing each W.O.D. It keeps you interested, keeps you going and it's different each day
What is your tip for a person getting started in CrossFit? My advice for anyone starting out at CrossFit is for the first few months to focus on their technique and scale workouts according to ability. Don't be discouraged
if you don't seem to be at the level of everyone else around you, they've all been there too. Take it one day at a time, eventually you'll be able to do the impossible!
