Why I like Crossfit...

Great variety. Training can sometimes get tedious. I've done a bit of triathlon training in the past.

CrossFit is great in that you turn up and don't know what to expect. You can't always play to your strengths. No 'steady state' hiding ground in CrossFit. Great fun - doing a hard session with other people makes it so much easier!

It's competitive but in a fun way - really you're only competing with yourself as the weights are tailored to your own level
great instructors!

I was worried about bulking up - not at all - got more toned & able to work harder in biking / running without the mental dramas. Short hard sessions means it's all over quickly - easy to accommodate in busy lives I was apprehensive about the lifting, having not done much at all. However, it's all scaled to suit and I am lifting weights and doing stuff I never thought I could (without going nuts I might add) like: box jumps, Olympic lifting, climbing ropes, pull ups ! Yay ! Exciting !

You don't need to be a machine, nor do you have to turn into a machine...just get strong & have fun!

Just wanted to drop a quick note to say how much I am loving cross-fit and how I really appreciate your patience with teaching me everything&.and getting my muscles (or lack thereof !) pumping!! I am feeling heaps of benefit from it and know the inches will start to fall off sooner or later!

You make it fun (my interpretation of fun has clearly changed!) and from week one I have felt really comfy giving everything a go and battling thru at my own level!
